Super Bowl & Birthday Parties

Even though I worked Friday, Saturday and Sunday - we had a great weekend partying it up every night. Saturday night Carol and Charlie hosted a steak dinner in honor of Charlie's birthday. Carol and Charlie's longtime friends, Mark & Jodi and Jerry & Edna, were there and we laughed all night at their stories from back in the day. Charlie has know Mark and Jerry for a long time and they have some pretty funny stories about drunk times hunting and spending time out at the Pekar farm in Hallettsville. I also learned the only thing better than a cold Shiner... haha. It was so nice to meet everyone and dinner was delicious. Happy Birthday Charlie!

Then, our friends Wayne and Lauren hosted a Super Bowl Party last night. I didn't watch any of the game - we hung out in the back watching the beer pong table. And guess who ran the table all night long with one of Wayne and Lauren's friends, Greg.


Blake. He also won the pool of money at the end of the game from the Super Bowl Grid. Isn't he annoying?

Lauren Jacobson and I challenged them to a game and almost beat them I'll have you know. We only lost by default from a dumb rule. Apparently beer pong is also like bowling - you can throw line drives at the cups and if they tip over - that counts, too. Yes I'm bitter.
We had a lot of fun hanging out, playing washers and ping pong, and it was nice to see everyone. Especially Andy! I'm totally calling you our Andy - don't be such a stranger!
